Presentation types and Timing
The conference will feature different types of contributions:
- Invited speech (30min+15min discussion, or 15min+10min discussion)
- Oral presentations (12min+3 min questions)
- 3 min-pitch + Poster (pitch from all selected posters + discussion over the poster session)
We kindly ask all participants to respect the timing of the presentation in order to avoid inconveniences in the planning of the event.
Templates
Invited speakers and oral presenters are free to use customised templates for their contributions.
Presenters selected for 3 min-pitch + poster contributions, are kindly requested to follow the templates below:

When to submit the presentations?
- Invited speakers and oral presenters are requested to:
- Send the .ppt presentations by June 25th to beatrice.malchiodi@epfl.ch.
- Upload the .ppt presentations on the laptop any time before their allocated session.
- Presenters for the 3 min-pitch + poster session are requested to:
- Print their posters beforehand
- Hang their posters on the poster stands at the coffe break room (Sala Balint) any time before Tuesday afternoon (First pitch+poster session).
- Send their 3 min-pitch presentation by June 25th to beatrice.malchiodi@epfl.ch.The 3-min pitch has to strictly respect the timing.
All presenters will line up near the stage and present one after the other in the Auditorium.
At the end of the pitches everyone will be invited to move to the poster room for a larger discussion in front of the posters. A coffee break will be served in the auditorium. The more convivial event will promote more space to present your work.
